Types of Care

Analysis

Each person is unique and so is their spine. The injuries that they have endured in their lifetime, along with the stresses that they try to fend off daily are unique to them.  For this reason, every person will respond differently to chiropractic care.

Every individual that comes into our office presents with a unique challenge to find the cause of their problem.  Our method of analysis is a culmination of Dr. John’s experience of over 36 years of practice combined with learning from Chiropractic’s greatest teachers.  These teachers include Dr. E.L. Crowder of Davenport, Iowa, who was an expert in the Palmer Upper Cervical Technique, and Dr. Vernon Pierce of Dravosburg, PA, an innovator, inventor and an expert in motion x-rays.  Dr. Pantalone has also spent time with Dr. Dennis Woggon of St. Cloud, Minnestoa, who founded the CLEAR Institute and is the leading Chiropractic expert in the correction of scoliosis without surgery.

At Pantalone Chiropractic, we use CLEAR x-ray analysis as it gives us a “blueprint” of how to correct the cause of the nervous system interference that is holding the body back from self-healing.

Adjustments

Our method of adjusting the spine utilizes a combination of an adjusting instrument (The Arthrostim) and the drop mechanism on the Chiropractic tables. These techniques allow for a very precise adjustment that can create immediate changes in posture and a reduction in nervous system interference.

Relief Care

When most of our patients start chiropractic care, it is for pain relief.  During this stage of care, we have several goals:

  1. Discover the underlying cause of your problem

  2. Recommend a care plan that will produce the fastest results possible.  Typically, this is a course of spinal adjustments that lasts between 2-12 weeks depending on the severity of the condition.

  3. Offer strategies that you can utilize to reduce the stress in your life and aid in recovery.

  4. When relief has been achieved, you may choose wellness care to continue healing and improving.

Wellness Care

The goal of wellness care is to help the body reach its maximum expression of the inborn potential for great health. During this stage of care, optimum spinal function and nervous system recovery are addressed.  For a great outcome, the exercises started in the initial care must continue. The visit frequency is much less than the initial care.
